Bio-Gregory Wilkey Principal

Gregory Wilkey is honored to join a long list of outstanding educators who work, and who have previously worked at Davis High School.  Dr. Wilkey was appointed principal of Davis High School in July of 2017.  He earned a B.A. in German from Weber State University, a B.A. in History from the University of Utah, an M.A. in German Literature and Languages from the University of Utah, an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from the University of Utah, and an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Instructional Leadership from Utah State University.  Greg taught German and History in the Jordan School District and at the University of Utah before being appointed Assistant Principal at West High School in 1996. Stints as an Assistant Principal at Bountiful High School and Northridge High School followed.  After serving as Principal at North Layton Junior High, Gregory Wilkey was appointed Principal at Bountiful High School where he served from 2010 to 2017.  Dr. Wilkey considers the opportunity to serve at Davis High School as a highlight of his career.

Bio-Bradley Chapple Vice Principal 

Mr. Chapple Joined the Davis High School Administrative team in July of 2014.  At Davis High School, he focuses on Community Council, Curriculum, Master Scheduling and working closely with teachers and counselors to assure a quality experience for all students.  Mr Chapple is proud to call himself a Davis Dart!
Prior to coming to Davis High School, Mr Chapple taught history, sociology, and AP courses.  He was a proud debate coach and student government adviser.  Mr. Chapple believes that students should drive the decisions behind their education and has worked hard to provide more options and opportunities for all students.

Bio- Ross Harris Vice Principal

Mr. Harris joined the Davis School District in 1990 after graduating from Southern Utah University with a BA in Spanish/Sociology.  He earned a MEd. in Secondary Education from Utah State University in 1991 with an emphasis in administration. His first job in the district was a Spanish 1 and 2 teacher and an assistant football and track coach at Layton High School for two years. He then taught at Viewmont High for ten years teaching Spanish, Sociology, Driver’s Education and Athletic Conditioning. He was the head football coach and an assistant track coach there as well. Mr. Harris has been a part of the Davis High Community for over twenty-five years as a resident of Kaysville. He joined the administrative team at Davis High School April of 2015. Before coming to Davis Mr. Harris was an assistant principal at Bountiful High for eight years and at Clearfield High for five. He is married and the father of six. 

Bio - Jeffery Williams Vice Principal

Jeffrey Williams comes to Davis High School after serving as an assistant principal at South Davis Junior High School in Bountiful and Centennial Junior High School in Kaysville. A proud graduate of Granite High School in Salt Lake City, Mr. Williams went on to earn a B.A in Special Education and an M.Ed. in Educational Psychology from the University of Utah.  He earned his administrative certification from Utah State University.  Mr. Williams holds endorsements in School Administration, Counseling and Special Education. After 38 years in education, he still looks forward to working with teachers and students every day.
