Dr. Lori Hawthorne was appointed Principal of Davis High School in July of 2022.  Hawthorne holds a B.A. in Mathematics and English from Carroll College, a M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership -- both from the University of Utah -- and an Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Northwest Nazarene University.  Hawthorne taught high school Mathematics and English and was an assistant girls basketball coach.  In Davis School District she has held positions of Mathematics Curriculum Supervisor, Assistant Director of Research and Assessment, Principal of Crestview Elementary, and Principal of Central Davis Junior High.

Todd Hammond brings over 20 years of experience in education, including 8 years as an administrator, to his role on the Davis High School Administration team, where he is proud to contribute to the preservation of the school's cherished traditions. Graduating from Utah State University with his undergraduate degree, Todd continued his educational journey by earning a master's degree from Western Governors University around a decade later. Beginning his career as a special education teacher at Sunset Junior, he later transitioned to Syracuse High, where he taught AP Government, established the debate program, and served as a junior class advisor. Todd's diverse background and unwavering dedication make him a valuable asset as he endeavors to support and guide the Davis High School community.

Stacey Jackson, a Davis High graduate, has deep roots in the community and an extensive background in education. With over two decades of experience in both Weber and Davis counties, she transitioned to the field of education after working in private sector research. Holding degrees from Utah State University and Arkansas State University, Mrs. Jackson is committed to lifelong learning. Alongside her husband, Brad, she treasures her role as a parent to two grown sons and eagerly awaits the joys of grandparenthood. Stacey finds pleasure in activities like snow skiing, golfing, and reading, and is particularly thrilled to rejoin the Davis High community, embracing the opportunity to make a meaningful impact once again.

Doug Peterson is proud to join the team at Davis High School after years working in junior high schools (Sunset, Kaysville, Legacy, Syracuse). He has degrees from Emporia State, Weber State, and Utah State. He taught P.E. and health for 15 years, as well as coaching basketball and track. He has a wife and 3 children. They love camping and boating.
