
Mrs. Weaver and Ms. Ord make math twice as nice! In addition to math, Mrs. Weaver is an avid reader and she enjoys sewing and quilting. Ms. Ord is also our DAL advisor, likes hockey and is a third degree black belt. We are grateful to have these two at MPJH!




Ms. Roberts is just one of our fantastic math teachers! Did you know she was once a student here at MPJH? Ms. Roberts will also soon be changing her name to Mrs. Todd after her wedding this December. Congratulations!




A big shout out today to Mr. Wente, one of our fabulous English teachers! Did you know that Mr. Wente can do the splits, had 3 poems published while in college and has read 25 books in the last 2 months? Someone should challenge him to a reading contest!



Mr. Duryea is one of many teachers here at MPJH who wears multiple hats. Thanks for your help in and out of the building! Did you know that Mr. Duryea is a baseball fan and actually reviews baseball bats? He also has 7 kids all named after presidents.

There's always something fun and exciting going on in Mrs. Wiemers' room. She definitely knows how to create the perfect atmosphere to inspire students while reading great literature!





Mr. Wayman hits all the right notes here at MPJH. He is patient, funny, and gets the best from his students. It's always a treat to listen to the band playing as we enter the building for a new school day!





Ms. Sanders is getting her students ready for the season and for their upcoming horror literature unit. It is definitely the perfect time of year to read all things creepy, scary, and mysterious. Thanks Ms. Sanders for all you do!


Mr. Poff is currently the most veteran teacher here at MPJH. He has taught here longer than any other teacher! He wears many hats for which we are all grateful. Today Mock Trial students got to participate in their first full trial. Thanks Mr. Poff for all you do here at MPJH!









Mr. Goaslind is one of our amazing science teachers. Not only that, but he is also the Utah State Science Teacher Rookie of the Year and a good sport! Thanks for taking one for the team today Mr. Goaslind!




Mrs. Alvey is multi-talented and MPJH is lucky to have her! She transitioned from a counseling assistant last year, to our MLL teacher this year. She is definitely a blessing to our students and school.


Mr. Colton is MPJH's amazing new art teacher. An interesting fact about Mr. Colton is that he has lived in five different countries:Spain, Phillipines, Germany, Italy, and the U.S. We're glad he found his way to Utah so that we can learn from his talent!


Ms. Barker is the perfect addition to our math department. We are so happy to have her join us at MPJH! She can definitely teach us all a few new things.






Ms. Zhang is MPJH's amazing Chinese language and culture teacher! She showed her school support by dressing up for spirit week last week, and this week taught her students about the mid-autumn festival. Students were able to make lanterns and sample mooncakes to celebrate.





Miss Wilcox is the perfect blend of sweet and spice! We are so lucky to have her here at MPJH. Today her students are making caramel. Good luck and remember, no metal pans in the microwave!








MPJH welcomes Miss Plumley to our school. She is an amazing foods, FACS, and CCA teacher! We're lucky to have her!










Mr. Tea, one of our amazing science teachers, is out of this world! Students were able to launch homemade rockets while protecting their fragile payload, a hard-boiled egg.
