Text reading " Our Power, Our Planet. Earth Day April 22"

Earth Day is coming up on April 22! This year’s theme, “Our Power, Our Planet,” reminds us that everyone can make a difference by taking care of the Earth.

Our third graders recently spent time helping clean up the field and playground, showing how small actions can make a big difference.

Here are some simple ways to help at home:

  • Turning off lights when not in use

  • Recycling and reducing waste

  • Conserving water

  • Picking up litter in your neighborhood

  • Spending time outdoors and appreciating nature

Small, everyday actions can have a big impact! These are habits we can practice every day—not just on Earth Day. When we work together, we can help ensure our planet has a healthy future.
